The work of Journalists reside

in the midst of everyday

events fraught with

danger and possible harm.

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem expressed its deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, and loved ones of the veteran correspondent and the beloved daughter of Palestine, who joined Al Jazeera in 1997 and was one of

its first field correspondents, known to millions for

May her soul be rested in eternal peace.
